This Privacy Policy explains how Merlin Brands Limited ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use this website (the "Site") and register your interest in Vytal. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.
1. Who we are
Merlin Brands Limited, a company registered in England & Wales. Registered office and company number: [to be added]. For any privacy questions, contact us at hello@vytalfoods.com.
2. The information we collect
When you join our "founders' circle", we collect the information you give us — typically your first name and email address. We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address and basic device/browser details, and information about how you use the Site.
3. How and why we use your information
- To keep you updated about our launch — sending you news, early-access invitations, sampling opportunities and founder pricing. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the sign-up form.
- To operate and improve the Site — based on our legitimate interests in running a secure, effective website.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us. We will never sell your personal data.
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party service providers (processors) to run the Site and our mailing list — for example, an email marketing platform and our website host. These providers act on our instructions and are bound to keep your data secure. We may also disclose information where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers may store or process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we take steps to ensure your data is protected by appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU approved contractual clauses).
6. How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up details for as long as you wish to hear from us, and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we will do so promptly, subject to any legal retention requirements.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies & similar technologies
This Site currently uses only what is necessary to function, and loads web fonts from Google Fonts (which may receive your IP address as part of serving those fonts). If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
10. Contact us
